Open your bottle of wine and pour a glass. Remove the eto stopper, and fully extend the neck (approx. 11cm).
Open your bottle of wine and pour a glass. Remove the eto stopper, and fully extend the neck (approx. 11cm).
Holding eto at an angle, decant your bottle through the neck.
Pour a glass: the long neck gently oxygenates the wine and its sharp lip ensures drip free pouring.
Replace the stopper and push the neck down. The valve automatically locks when it reaches the wine.
Store eto in a cool, dark place. It has been designed to fit perfectly into a fridge door.
Lift up the neck very slightly to release the seal, before pouring your next glass.
Please wash before first use. Fully extend the neck. Unscrew the shoulder, and raise the shoulder up to the top.
Lift and rotate out
Turn eto upside down and unscrew the valve out (anti-clockwise).
Separate the red seal from the valve and the black seal from the plunger.
Hand-wash all 6 parts in hot water and dry thoroughly. The small microfibre bag can be used to polish the metal parts.
NB. Metal parts are not dishwasher safe.
We then recommend storing these 4 parts in the bag between uses to help absorb any moisture.
Replace the red seal and the black seal.
Screw in the valve securely (clockwise)
NB. *Ensure the seals are fully air-dried before assembly
Guide the plunger into the glass at a 45° angle.
Push inside (approx. 10cm) then screw on the shoulder and replace the stopper.
NB. Don’t ‘over tighten’ when screwing onto the glass.
Eto's simple, elegant design also has sustainability in mind; there's no need for costly extras or replacement parts - unless you lose or break something.
With a bit of love and care your eto should last a lifetime.
To keep your eto sparkling like new, wash between uses in accordance with the user guide. The small black microfibre bag is the perfect cloth to shine your eto & keep it smudge free
eto should smell neutral afer washing. Detergents can affect the smell and taste of your wine, that's why we recommend using warm water only to keep your eto clean and fresh.
To remove wine or other lingering odours we recommend putting the red silicone ball seal and the black silicone glass seal parts ONLY on a baking tray and in your oven for 20 minutes on 200 degrees centigrade (that's 400 degrees Fahrenheit). They are pure food grade silicone so won’t melt.
Please don't put other parts of eto in the oven. You can use a soft brush on them, or you can soak in a solution of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) for up to 24 hours.
Sometimes after washing it is difficult to remove all the moisture before reassembly & storing away, so you may also want to keep the silicone parts outside of the eto whilst storing.
The black microfibre bag is also ideal for this purpose.

When you open a bottle of wine oxygen mixes with air and starts oxidation. Too much oxidation ruins any wine.
eto's unique, patented preservation system creates a seal between the wine and the air, reducing your wine’s exposure to oxygen, slowing down the oxidation process and keeping its great taste for longer.
eto keeps your wine for up to 2 weeks.
Every wine is different, so the exact length of time depends on the wine’s age, style, grape variety, the wine making method, how vigorously you decant etc.
Wine keeps for longer stored in a cool dark place
eto has been designed so that when you fully extend the neck you can decant a standard 750ml bottle into eto, have a glass or 2 & then store the remainder - so you can store a maximum of 600ml (20oz) & a minimum of 175ml (6oz).
eto has been designed to be kept upright and may not seal if you put it on its side.
eto fits perfectly in a fridge door. Wine keeps for longer stored in a cool dark place - wine experts recommend keeping your wine (even red wine) in the fridge.
No you can’t keep sparkling wine in eto because the pressure build up is too much. eto has been designed for all still wines including fortified wines.
We recommend hand washing all eto parts. NB the metal parts of eto are not dishwasher safe.
Sometimes the metal parts contract when cold.
You can try soaking your eto in warm water, or placing it under the hot tap for a few seconds, dry, then try again. This should do the trick.
You can also use rubber gloves for extra grip.
Remember too, there's no need to over-tighten the top part to the base, as that has no impact on the seal.
