Important Update: GPSR Compliance & Temporary Shipping Pause to EU/NI

On 13th December 2024, the new General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR) will come into effect across the EU. These regulations are designed to ensure that all consumer products sold in the EU meet the highest safety standards. It’s something we fully support—safety is always our top priority. 

But here’s where it gets a bit tricky: to comply, all businesses selling products into the EU/NI must have an Authorised Representative based within the EU or NI. This representative acts as the compliance contact and ensures that our products meet the required safety standards. 

Given the short window between the announcement and the implementation of the new regulations, we’re working quickly to find the right Authorised Representative agency. We’re carefully doing our due diligence to make sure we get this right, so we can continue to bring you the etos you love without any bumps in the road. 

In the meantime, to avoid any shipping delays or products getting stuck in customs, we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily halt all shipments to the EU/NI. We know it’s not ideal, but it’s necessary to ensure we’re fully compliant with the new rules. 

We’ll update you when everything is back on track and we’ve got the new procedures in place.
